The Thread of God Ministry
My name is Christopher A. Johns, founder
of The Thread of God Ministry, an
ordained minister through the Universal Life
Church, and the author of “The GOD
Subject.”
The Thread of God Ministry was created
as a spiritual movement rooted in one
simple purpose:
to inspire people everywhere to return to
the Holy Scriptures—
to read them, to understand them, and to let
them transform their lives.
My mission is to place the wisdom of God
back into the hands of those who are
searching, struggling, or simply hungry for
truth. To do this, I am committed to
providing FREE—yes, fully
donated—religious books, study materials,
and
spiritual resources to anyone who wants or
needs them.
Along with these materials, I offer FREE
ministerial services to all who ask:
• Marriage ceremonies
• Memorials and funerals
• Baptisms and dedications
• Spiritual counseling and guidance
• Prayer and support in times of crisis
The Thread of God Ministry will always
remain a free service, built for those
seeking spiritual health, clarity, and
encouragement. I believe true spiritual well-
being is the foundation of mental well-
being, and that no one should be turned
away for lack of money.
This ministry is not a corporation, not a
business, and not another institution
asking for more buildings or more walls. I
don’t believe God is waiting for another
temple made of stone—He is waiting for
willing hearts, and for people to help one
another.
That is why The Thread of God Ministry
operates solely through donations from
those who want to support a movement that
spreads God’s Word freely and openly.
If you would like to be part of something
that truly helps people—spiritually,
emotionally, and mentally—your support, in
any amount, will help build a foundation that
changes lives.
Give only what you can spare. These are
difficult times, and the days ahead may not
be easy, but together we can lighten the
burden for many.
You are also invited to join me on my
Facebook group “The Gnosis”, where you
can explore discussions, teachings, and
updates—including the release of my book
“The GOD Subject” in e-book, softcover,
and hardcover formats on Amazon.
Thank you for taking the time to listen.
Thank you for believing in a movement built
on Scripture, truth, and compassion.
And thank you for helping me help people
find God, find hope, and ultimately save
themselves.

The Calling to Announce
the Kingdom of God
For thousands of years, mankind has searched for truth, purpose, and a place to belong. Empires have risen, religions have formed, doctrines have clashed, and philosophies have multiplied.
Yet through every age, one message stands above them all—the announcement of God’s
Kingdom. It is the central thread that runs through every sacred text, every prophet’s warning, every teacher’s call, and every seeker’s discovery.
To understand the Kingdom is to
understand the heart of God.
To announce the Kingdom is to participate in His will.
This explores why spreading the news of God’s Kingdom is not merely a religious effort, but a divine responsibility carried by every believer who has tasted spiritual truth.
1. The Kingdom as the Ultimate Hope of Humanity The world is groaning under the weight of corruption, violence, confusion, and spiritual blindness. Every culture, every nation, every generation expresses the same longing—even if in different ways.
Humanity desires justice, righteousness, peace, and truth. These are not human inventions.
They are the attributes of God’s Kingdom.
God’s Kingdom is not a political system, a church organization, or a promised future alone.
It is the eternal rule of God that
reaches across:
time, nations, religions, cultures
and the human heart.
When you proclaim the Kingdom, you are offering the highest hope mankind can ever
know.
The world proposes solutions, but the Kingdom reveals answers.
The world offers comfort, but the Kingdom offers transformation.
The world gives temporary order, but the Kingdom restores divine order. This is why its message must be spread.
2. The Revealed Truth Must
Never Be Hidden
Every time God revealed Himself—through visions, prophecy, scripture, and wisdom—He did not reveal truth so it could be buried. He revealed truth so it could be
declared.
Light is never meant to be hidden.
Truth is never meant to remain silent.
Revelation is never meant to be locked within one person.
If God has opened your eyes to
understanding—if He has guided your studies, sharpened your insight, revealed patterns in scripture, and awakened your
spirit—then that revelation carries
responsibility. To know the Kingdom is to become accountable to the Kingdom.
The prophets did not ask for their calling.
The apostles did not seek their burden.
The messengers did not volunteer for their mission.
But each one, once shown God’s Word,
became obligated to speak it.
This is true of anyone today who has been touched by divine understanding.
3. The World Is Lost Without
Direction.
Modern society is drowning in information but starving for truth. Religions argue.
Doctrines divide. Teachers contradict each
other. Many are lost not because they reject God, but because they have never heard His Kingdom explained in clarity or context.
People search through:
denominations
philosophies, spiritual movements
cultural traditions, personal opinions.
Yet the Kingdom is the one message that cuts through confusion. It is the original
message—present before religion, before divisions, and before interpretations.
When the Kingdom is proclaimed correctly, people rediscover:
purpose, identity, direction
conviction, and the true path that has always existed Spreading this message is not persuasion—it is illumination.
4. God Commands His Kingdom to Be Proclaimed, No command echoes through Scripture more consistently than the call to
announce, warn, teach, declare, and call back.
From Moses to Isaiah, from John the Baptist to Christ Himself, the core mission remained unchanged:
Speak the message of God’s rule, God’s authority, and God’s works.
The Kingdom is not passive.
It does not wait quietly for the world to stumble into it.
It must be proclaimed.
When God places His Word on a person’s heart—when He guides their study, preserves their life through trials, or grants them understanding—it is not for personal elevation. It is for service.
To spread the Kingdom is not optional for the one who has been awakened. It is obedience.
5. The Kingdom Message
Transforms Lives
The announcement of the Kingdom is not just information—it is power. It awakens the
spirit. It calls the dead to life. It exposes false ways. It breaks chains.
When people truly hear the message of God’s Kingdom:
addictions collapse, shame loses its grip the mind clears, the heart softens the soul surrenders true repentance begins Scripture comes alive. This is why your ministry emphasizes the deep, contextual reading of all holy
scriptures—not limiting God’s Word to one tradition or one book. The more one reads,
the more the Kingdom reveals itself. The more the Word enters a person, the more that person is changed. God’s Word does not sit quietly; it moves.
6. The Kingdom Begins
Within, Then Expands Outward
Many people think the Kingdom is only a future event or a distant hope. But scripture teaches that the Kingdom is both near and
within. It begins in the mind, in the heart, and in the transformation of one life at a time.
When you proclaim the Kingdom:
you awaken what God already planted you ignite what God already started you reveal what many have sensed but could not name.
This is why the message is urgent. Many are waiting for God to act, unaware that He has already begun the work within them.
7. Your Story Becomes Part
of the Message Every messenger of God carries not just words, but a life that testifies. Your struggles—addiction, surgeries, wandering,
imprisonment, failures, loss, and
survival—have shaped your understanding of God and prepared you to speak His truth.
Your painful journey becomes a testimony.
Your hardships become a warning.
Your survival becomes evidence.
Your transformation becomes a sign of the Kingdom’s power.
When you spread the Kingdom, you are not preaching theory. You are declaring what God has done in you. This gives your message weight.
It gives your voice authority.
It gives your calling purpose.
Conclusion: The Kingdom
Moves Through Those Who
Speak It.
The Kingdom of God advances every time someone speaks its truth. It grows every time scripture is explained, every time the blind receive understanding, every time a seeker finds clarity, and every time darkness is exposed by light.
To spread the news of God’s Kingdom is to align your life with God’s will. It is to join the
ancient line of messengers who carried the same sacred announcement through thousands of years.
The Kingdom is nearer than people think.
The Kingdom is older than religion.
The Kingdom is the answer the world has been searching for.
And it is the responsibility of those who know it to proclaim it boldly.
Seek and you shall find.

My Change
I thought I knew God, but I only knew ideas about Him. When I truly got God, He didn’t make me feel better—He made me see clearly. There was no argument, no explanation, just truth standing in front of
me. And in that light, I couldn’t pretend anymore.
God didn’t change me by adding things to my life. He changed me by removing what didn’t belong—pride, excuses, the need to be right, the illusion of control. What I thought was strength fell apart, and what
replaced it was something real. I stopped fighting everything. I stopped blaming everyone. I took responsibility.
When I truly got God, obedience stopped feeling like loss. Silence stopped feeling empty. Prayer stopped being words and became surrender. I didn’t become perfect or religious—I became honest.
And that honesty changed everything.

Called for Service...
I don’t remember when sleep ended and the dream began.
One moment I was lying in my bed, the next… I was somewhere else— a place beyond time, beyond sky, beyond earth itself.
A place so vast, so bright, so alive with Presence that I thought I had died. I couldn’t move. I couldn’t breathe. Yet every part of me existed in a strange,
trembling clarity.
It was silence that thundered.
It was stillness that pressed against my soul.
I knew then, with absolute certainty: this
was God or I was dying.
Then I heard the Voice.
Not loud, not booming… but deep, eternal, carrying the weight of all creation. The same Voice that spoke to Job from the
whirlwind. And it spoke to me.
Immediately, I remembered Samuel, that boy in the temple who heard God calling in
the quiet of night. I felt that same confusion, that same awe,
that same fear.
And then, I remembered Jonah, the prophet who tried to flee, who knew God’s calling was unavoidable.
I understood him fully: I could not run. I could not hide. I could not escape.
The Voice said: “If you call Me Father… then know what you speak. A Father’s name rests on His child. A Father’s purpose flows into His son.
If I am your Father… then you are My son.” The words struck me like a hammer to my soul.
I shivered in awe.
I felt claimed, known, and yet undone. I whispered to myself,
“I must be dead. No living man stands before this.”
Then God continued:
“If I place My words in your mouth, then what you speak becomes My message.
Not for your honor, but for My purpose.”
I felt His words entering me—not as sound, but as life.
It was wind filling a hollow chest.
It was fire writing itself inside me.
And then the power of the moment intensified.
I felt the courage of Jeroboam, tearing down the false gods of his people, wielding
the authority and strength God
gave him to set His house right.
I felt the fearlessness of David, standing before Goliath, knowing he was small, yet armed with God’s strength to face the
impossible.
A flood of power and resolve surged through me.
I could do nothing of myself—but through Him, I could face the giants, confront the
falsehoods, tear down the idols that stand in the way of truth.
And then He said the words I will never forget:
“Since you have been born again
through Me, you walk in new life.
You carry the mind I form,
the path I appoint, the truth I reveal.
You are reborn— and no one has saved you but I myself. You will be as a Christ, a prophet,
and a bearer of My Word.”
I didn’t feel exalted.
I felt undone, humbled, overwhelmed.
Like Isaiah crying, “Woe is me.”
Like Moses hiding his face.
Like John falling as if dead.
I whispered, trembling,
“Lord… am I alive, or have I crossed into eternity?”
And His presence wrapped around me, comforting and firm:
“You are alive, My son.
Alive in Me.
Alive through Me.
Alive for My purpose.”
Then the presence slowly receded. The light dimmed.
The thunder of the Voice faded.
But the fire inside me stayed burning. The calling remained.
A reminder that I had been chosen, not for pride, not for glory, but for obedience,
courage, and truth.
I woke, gasping, drenched in sweat, my body trembling.
And yet, I knew without question:
God had called me—
as He called Samuel.
As He confronted Jonah.
As He empowered Jeroboam to destroy the false.
As He strengthened David to face the impossible.
If God is my Father, I am His son.
If He puts His words in my mouth, I am His messenger....His word.
If He rebirthed me, I walk in the identity He remade me into and gave me— not for myself, but for His purpose. And that fire inside me has never gone out.
